Farwood Barton lies in the peaceful Coly Valley amid high hills in the
heart of the East Devon countryside on a working dairy farm. Mentioned in the Domesday book in 1086, Farwood Barton was in existence in Saxon times and was believed to be called Forhoda. It is believed the name Barton means a farm that was in existence in Saxon times.
We are near to the Jurassic coast and only a short distance from the A30/A303 and A35, perfect for exploring East Devon.
